My Story
I became a therapist to help others navigate the challenges I’ve faced and continue to face: addiction, anxiety, depression, and everyday stress. My work is also informed by a deep understanding of the difficulties that come with change, healing, and rebuilding your relationship with yourself. I believe that growth happens when we approach ourselves with compassion rather than judgment.
Having personal experience with the challenges of recovery and mental health, I bring both professional training and a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support.
Before I was a therapist, I was a school counselor, earning both my school counseling and mental health counseling degrees from the University of Rochester.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time watching movies, playing golf, and making memories with my wife and our two dogs, Jojo and Maggie (pictured above!) I believe that a meaningful life is built not only through personal growth, but also through connection, balance, and the moments we share with the people (and pets) we care about.
